Children’s March & Speak Out!
On Sunday, December 11th kids from all over New York will be marching and speaking out for the values, ideals and rights that unite us all -- kindness, fairness and equity.
Kids will be able to speak up about their feelings, their fears, and their hopes for the future. We encourage homemade signs and welcome messages that speak up for kindness or speak out against hate, that nurture respect and love for one another no matter our differences or similarities.
This gathering is for all kids and families, their caregivers and friends.
The march will begin at the Central Park Children’s Gate at East 64th Street & 5th Avenue at 12:30pm. We will march together to the Bandshell in Central Park, with a speak out starting at 1pm.
